Description
This pair of rhinos resides at the Jacksonville Zoo & Gardens in Florida. Some interesting facts: The name rhinoceros literally means "nose horn". The white rhino is the second largest land mammal next to the elephant! Rhinos are herbivores. Although they nurse for a year, the baby rhinoceros can eat vegetation one week after being born.
