This image was captured at the Butterfly Place, in Westford, MA. Someone saw it later and commented that butterflies were a symbol for breast cancer survival and purchased a card to give to a friend struggling with the disease. In memory of my special friend Kim, who loved this photo and passed away from breast cancer, 50% of all sales of this print will go towards a charity of her family's choosing. I will post periodically how much has been raised. Thank you!
I have been taking pictures most of my life and love the idea of taking a moment and capturing it forever! My photography skills have been enhanced through private lessons as well as being a member of my local camera club. I have won more than 100 awards and features from various competitions thus far and have had my pictures displayed at art galleries, libraries and other institutions both individually and collectively as part of the camera club exhibit. In addition to my event and portrait photography, I make digital slideshows and enjoy helping others create lasting memories with their photos.
